Newlyweds Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are an international couple: Eva is a Texican and Tony a Frenchman. The two are starting to talk kids, and given their flavorful mix, are beginning to think about education and the language issue. And they aren’t planning on letting any of the three languages spoken between them slip through the cracks. At a recent event for kids with cancer, Eva said that she and Tony will make sure that their offspring speak English, Spanish and French.
Eva said that she thinks it’s great that kids have access to bilingual cartoons like Dora and Go Diego Go! because when she was a kid “Speedy Gonzales was the [only] bilingual character growing up and all he said was ‘Arriba! Arriba!’” Indeed.

La ama de casa desesperada, Eva Longoria, married NBA superstar Tony Parker not once but twice!. On Friday the couple had a 45-minute civil ceremony in France as required by French law. A religious ceremony took place on Saturday, 7/7/07, at around 5 p.m., Paris time, across the street from the Louvre in a religious ceremony at the Church of Saint-Germain l’Auxerrois. The post boda fieston took place in a 17th-century chateau in the French countryside about an hour away from the ceremony site. Approximately 250 people attended the fete (my invitation must have gotten lost in the mail).
Felicidades to the pareja.

29 Mar 2007No, Eva’s not cheating on her fiancee, NBA star Tony Parker; it seems that Tony himself is a rapper. And he raps in…uh…French. Peep his video here:
What do you think? The first word that came to my mind when watching the video was “wickety wack”, but then again I don’t speak French nor am I a music critic.
People magazine says that Eva is mighty proud of Tony and his new rap CD and quotes a record store employee in Paris who says that the album is selling.

We recently told you that Texican Eva Longoria is going to marry her bf Tony Parker. People magazine reports that in a labor of love, Eva is learning the native tongue of her fiancé, French:
Eva Longoria may not be a housewife, but she is desperate for her France-raised fiancé Tony Parker to improve her French skills.“He’s terrible. He always wants to speak English,” Longoria, 31, told PEOPLE Thursday while in London to open the annual Harrods Winter Sale. “I try to remind him but he always forgets and says it’s easier and faster to speak English, but I want to understand.”
She decided to master French the hard way – in a classroom. “I couldn’t speak French before Tony. All I knew how to say was, ‘My name is Eva.’ I went to a Berlitz French school this summer, doing about five hours a day.”
And how is her French now? “Great!”
I wouldn’t bet on it. French is one of those languages that if you learn three phrases you think you sound great, and the French people in the room are secretly laughing their asses off about how bad you speak.

On-again off-again Hollywood couple Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are ready to tie the knot, according to AP/The Chicago Tribune:
“Tony flew into Los Angeles last night after his game and surprised Eva at her home as she got off work,” Liza Anderson told The Associated Press on Thursday via e-mail.“The proposal was romantic and perfect. The couple plans to wed in France in the summer of 2007 in what they describe as a big, happy ceremony with lots of family and friends.”
Congrats, Eva.
In not so happy Eva news, Longoria was named one of PETA’s “worst-dressed” as one of the many celebs who wears fur in public.

For those of you who still care (and judging from the number of hits we get off of Eva’s name, there are a lot of you), it looks like Eva Longoria’s split from bf Tony Parker was a false alarm:
There are signs of hope in the relationship of Tony Parker and Eva Longoria, whose split last week seemed only to last, well, a split second, PEOPLE reports in its new issue.“They’re trying to work things out,” Longoria’s rep, Liza Anderson, tells the magazine. “There is a genuine love there.”
During a recent romp in Paris – where point guard Parker was playing in exhibition games with the San Antonio Spurs – the couple took in the sights, partied at the VIP Room and dined at the famed Le Coupe-Chou.
Now I’ll finally be able to sleep through the night.

The power-couple comprised of Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria and NBA star Tony Parker is no longer, according to People magazine:
Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker have split up, a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE.“They did break up. It’s amicable,” the source says, adding, “They are talking and trying to figure the best course of action for their future. They are trying to work things out.”
“It’s distance and demanding careers and not living in same city,” said the source. “It didn’t happen yesterday. It’s been going on for a while.”
In an earlier statement issued by Longoria’s rep Liza Anderson on Friday, she said, “Eva and Tony are going through a very difficult time right now, just like any other couple with extremely demanding careers.”
Eva had previously predicted that she and Tony would stay together “forever”. Kiss of death. I wonder what she’s going to do about that tattoo.
Meanwhile, Eva had a run-in with some squatters living in her new mansion. I hate when that happens.

According to People magazine, actress Eva Longoria is spilling the beans, and to Playboy no less. Unfortunately, she isn’t saying much of anything scandalous at all, but instead revealing how she’s “not pregnant” and telling about how she called the makers of Zip Loc to complain about a box of defective plastic bags:
Despite the success of her show, “I’m still really frugal, which is funny,” she says – citing how rather than simply buy a new box she once called the manufacturer to complain that “every zipper was broken in a box of Ziploc bags I was using.” The result? “They sent me five free boxes. I felt better. It’s the principle of the matter.”
Of her long distance relationship with San Antonio Spurs player Tony Parker, Eva says:
“We use our Sidekicks to send photos, which of course we’re keep clean. We’re both so afraid of anything obscene turning up on the Internet.”
Snooze….

Why does it always seem that as soon as someone says “I’m in love! I’m going to be with this person forever!” that declaration marks the first moment of a downward spiral — the beginning of the end? Don’t tell that to Eva Longoria, who’s flaunting her amor para siempre plans in all of our faces:
Eva Longoria is a relationship kind of woman – and says she expects to stay with her beau, San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker “forever.”“I’d much rather be in a relationship,” the Desperate Housewives star tells PEOPLE. “There’s no way in the world I would rather be single. Tony is too. I’ve said the only reason Tony and I are going to stay together forever is because we’re too lazy to look for someone else.”
Let’s hope (23 year-old) Tony doesn’t get unlazy and pull a Kobe Bryant on her.
