Todos Somos Arizona

Resistance against SB1070 continues, the latest from Mexico.

The following is video of a major protest against the legistlation, in which protestors chanted “Todos somos Arizona!” Or, we are all Arizona!

Sounds a little different than when Sarah Parlin says it, huh?

Palin/Dobbs 2012 : The Clueless About Latinos Ticket

When Latinos fail, lose, or get fired we are statistics, stereotypes even. When the losers are white they get to have book tours and run for president?

For the last two weeks, two media figures who should have been done for are showing their faces more than ever and with followers to boot.

First we have Sarah Palin and her nationwide book tour. No, I haven’t read the book but if Palin’s publisher wants to send VivirLatino a review copy to do a Latino perspective, I will. Seems like she could use some help in the Latino issues department.

“She did not feel comfortable speaking about issues regarding Hispanics and Latin America,” GOP consultant Ana Navarro told Univision anchor Jorge Ramos in an interview. “Those are not topics that come up frequently in Alaska. So she asked to cancel the interview and, unfortunately, you were already there.”

Seems like her target readership could use some help in the issues department in general.

One big WTF comin’ right atcha, dontcha know:

Damn…that was some weird, incoherent rambling. But the real question here is: WHY? And why NOW?

On the eve of the 4th of July…that ain’t very patriotic, Sarah!

What are your theories dear readers?

bristolpalin2.jpgI am seriously starting to think that we need to enact a law like they did in Chihuahua, Mexico, limiting the silly names parents can name their children.

Once wanna-be VP’s Sarah Palin’s hija, Bristol Palin, gave birth this week and named the boy Tripp. With two “p”s so no one confuses the child with a vacation or falling over something. How creative of them.

Regular readers know of my dislike (to put it mildly) of the Thanksgiving holiday. Pero if I needed a reason to not celebrate, it could very well be this video of the once starry eyes U.S. VP hopeful, Alaska’s Governor Sarah Palin going on and on about the holiday as turkeys are being killed behind her. It’s like a scene out of a horror movie.

With the election results now signed, sealed and delivered, now comes the finger pointing from the losing side and not surprisingly McCain’s crooked old finger is pointing at Sarah Palin.

Instead of doing what they should have done during the campaign, now the McCain camp and Republicans throw Palin to the political lions, revealing or making up that they themselves didn’t believe Palin was a winning choice.

Fox News Channel political correspondent Carl Cameron today disclosed the first of what he predicts will be an “avalanche” of unflattering stories about the Republican vice presidential nominee: Off-the-record tips from McCain aides that Palin did not know Africa was a continent or the constituent countries in the NAFTA treaty. He later told Bill O’Reilly Palin also didn’t know the constituent nations of North America, either.

Sarah Palin Punked!

It’s no surprise/secret that la Mala is no big fan of la Sarah Palin pero, you can’t help but feel a little bad for her as she gets tricked into thinking she’s speaking to French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

So, here we are in the same place we were before headed down the completly wrong road with people we don’t really care for but are bound at the hip with anyway (isn’t there a song with lyrics along those lines? There should be if there isn’t).

This time, fellow U.S. citizens cut to the chase–Obama’s not a terrorist, he’s a n*gger. Gawd, dammit.

And of course, as with the assertions of terrorism, Ms. Palin stops and rebukes her audience. Er, no, wait a minute–actually, she charges on with her speech as if nothing was said.

But as Elle notes in her post, it’s not like Ms. Palin wasn’t basically using the N word in her speech. Who else (according to some of our friendly U.S. citizens) but the n*ggers are sitting on welfare expecting the government to take care of them? Certainly not hard working, ‘real’ U.S. citizens that love God and the U.S. and plumb for a living.

God, when will this damn election END already??

More Tina Fey as Sarah Palin…

I dunno, Fey is amusing and all, but I really prefer Will Ferrell as George Bush. Dude, I want to be heavily patriotized.
