It’s February 15th…do you know where your Valentine is? Did you spend the holiday alone, cursing it as a Hallmark consumerist excuse to spend money, or were you instead pining away because (say in whiny voice) “everybody’s got somebody except me…”?
A new all-Latino dating site called QuieroLatino might be the solution to your singledom. The site officially launched yesterday, on el dia de los enamorados and we’ve heard there’s a lot of buzz on QuieroLatino already.

Why does it always seem that as soon as someone says “I’m in love! I’m going to be with this person forever!” that declaration marks the first moment of a downward spiral — the beginning of the end? Don’t tell that to Eva Longoria, who’s flaunting her amor para siempre plans in all of our faces:
Eva Longoria is a relationship kind of woman – and says she expects to stay with her beau, San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker “forever.”“I’d much rather be in a relationship,” the Desperate Housewives star tells PEOPLE. “There’s no way in the world I would rather be single. Tony is too. I’ve said the only reason Tony and I are going to stay together forever is because we’re too lazy to look for someone else.”
Let’s hope (23 year-old) Tony doesn’t get unlazy and pull a Kobe Bryant on her.

Spanish media is reporting today on a survey (“The 99 Most Desirable Women”) featured on Askmen.com which asked the question: who would you most want for a long-term girlfriend? American men answered: Jessica Alba.
The full list of “desirable women” will be released tomorrow on Askmen.com.

Soon 20 countries in Latin America will be able to say, “There’s the rub” and they won’t be quoting Hamlet. Sí TV, the only U.S. English-language Latino network, will be distributing it’s roundtable relationship show, The Rub subtitled in Spanish and Portuguese, and broadcast it in over 20 countries including Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
I occasionally watch Sí TV and don’t think The Rub is the best the channel has to offer, but I think a show that features a multi-racial group of young people talking frankly about relationships, love, and sex could be a hit across Latin America.
