She’s a crazy like a fox and no Marilyn Monroe, but that didn’t stop the Mexican edition of Playboy magazine from signing up Cuban B-lister Niurka Marcos to be its next covergirl. I guess it’s more about scandal that aesthetics here:
Moments after signing a contracat with the publishers of the magazie, Niurka said that she had not accepted the offer previously out of respect for her ex boyfriends, Juan Osorio y Bobby Larios, but that now that she enjoys her freedom, she makes decisions on her own.
Niurka, always the deep thinker, also says that being single has shown her another side of herself:
She added that now that she doesn’t have a partner “I have done marvelous things, I have recognized myself, I have identified with myself and I have discovered the talents that I have.”
Oh, and what talents! Niurka is also preparing for the release of her new book, written by her — not a ghostwriter — in which she tells of her humble beginnings in Cuba and her rise to fame in Mexico.

Hombres: put down your wallets. If you were planning to spend your money on March’s Playboy magazine in the hopes of seeing Jessica Alba in her birthday suit, I have bad news for you. She’s not naked. And Jessica herself is pretty pissed off that your dirty mind thought she was naked inside the issue. So angry is the Sin City star that she is threatning to sue Playboy for using her image for commercial purposes without her consent and causing “immeasurable harm” to her reputation and career. Alba insists that the men’s mag got her bikini clad cover shot, which actually is a promo pic, through some underhanded methods and that she never agreed to be their cover girl.

On Monday the former Miss Universe, Alicia Machado, signed a contract with Playboy to pose naked in a February edition to be sold throughout the Americas.
The 1996 Miss Universe has dedicated her being photographed como Dios la trajo al mundo to Donald Trump who called her an “eating machine” when she gained weight after winning the beauty pageant.
