Huckabee defends the honor of marriage

Mike Huckabee pulls out every well thought out reason why gay marriage sux big hairy man balls here, and fortunately, Jon Stewart calls him on every single one of them. In light of the fact that two Latin@s were brutally beaten, one of them to the point of death, because of gay hate, it’s important to remember that not calling out even the well thought out homophobic reasoning has consequences.

There is no reasonable hate–I am glad Jon Stewart, at least, recognizes that.

Mike Huckabee is speaking to his supporters using a baseball metaphor (middle America loves baseball right?). This is how Huckabee’s going down with a baseball story? Nothing deep or political? Huckabee said he just called McCain , congratulated him, and has his back (well he didn’t use those words) and that so should all Republicans.

I never noticed how masculine looking Huckabee’s wife looks.

Oh they just interrupted Huckabee (pobrecito- can’t even get a break when he’s stepping down) to project that Hillary Clinton is the winner of Rhode Island.

Have you ever tried liveblogging with a toddler…I don’t recommend it.

Barack Obama and Mike Huckabee each won in their respective parties. The big surprise was Hillary Clinton’s coming in not second, but third place!

Mr. Huckabee won with 34.4 percent of the delegate support, after 86 percent of precincts had reported. Mr. Romney had 25.4 percent, former Senator Fred D. Thompson of Tennessee had 13.4 percent and Senator John McCain of Arizona had 13.2 percent.
On the Democratic side, with 100 percent of precincts reporting, Mr. Obama had 37.6 percent of the delegate support, Mr. Edwards 29.8 percent and Mrs. Clinton had 29.5 percent. Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico was fourth, at 2.11 percent.
