JLo wants to have twins

A few months ago everyone was buzzing about whether or not JLo was pregnant. She even talked about adopting a baby from Puerto Rico, but it seems she’s going to try to have not one, but TWO of her own, according to Spain’s 20 Minutos:

Singer and actress Jennifer López wants to have two children at the same time with her husband, salsero Marc Anthony, according the The Sun.

To that end, López, 37, is undergoing fertility treatment at Cedars-Sinai clinic in Los Ángeles.

Jennifer is backing up that treatment with a strict diet based on prganic products.

According to 20 Minutos, the treatment is costing JLo thousands of dollars. I’m sure she can afford it, though.

Marc Anthony receives song from beyond the grave

I love the way Marc Anthony and JLo make my job so much easier. Mondays are always tough, but Marc and JLo help me along by doing and saying weird stuff on a consistent enough basis, making posting great gossip to VL that much easier. Case in point: JLo’s hubby believes that Spanish music legend Rocío Durcal is communicating with him from beyond the grave, and ordering him to listen to a song she wrote for JLo, according to Spain’s 20 Minutos:

Marc Anthony claims that Rocío Dúrcal appeared to him in dreams and asked him to listen to a song that she had written for his wife, singer and actress Jennifer Lopez.

Anthony claims that the strange dream took place two weeks after the singer’s death. According to the composer (Anthony), he got out of bed and recorded his own voice on an answering machine humming the song that Dúrcal sent him, including the title, “Qué hiciste”.

Jennifer Lopez thought for months about what she could do with the song, and finally decided to include it on her last Spanish album, “Cómo ama una mujer”.

Sounds like Marc Anthony is competing for the honor of the Latino world’s Tom Cruise.

Remember the 2005 Grammy awards? Remember Skeletor and his wife singing together? Then you remember how bad it was but apparently they didn’t! DListed has some pics from the latest stop in the Juntos en Concierto tour, featuring Marc Anthony, Marco Antonio Solis, and Laura Pausini. It seems that last night J. Lo. and hubby shared a duet. As soon as they took Alejandro Fernandez off the Juntos en Concierto lineup, it was a wash for me. Now I’m really glad I haven’t attended this year’s version.

Crooks who stole JLo’s wedding video: guilty

Ah yes, folks, the first JLo post of the week. Apparently we missed this back when it originally happened, but it seems that some fools decided to steal JLo and Marc Anthony’s wedding video and then “hold it ransome” for a million dollars. The goons have plead guilty to the crime:

One of two New Jersey men who were arrested after they allegedly tried to sell Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez’s stolen wedding video back to the couple for $1 million pleaded guilty Wednesday to attempted grand larceny.

Tito Moses, 31, an ex-convict from Newark, admitted in Manhattan’s state Supreme Court that he tried to get a $1 million ransom for the stolen video. He said he and an accomplice negotiated with a man they thought was a Lopez-Anthony representative.

The “representative” was in fact an undercover detective, prosecutors said.

The judge in the case says the crooks will be looking at 1 1/2 to three years in the slammer for swiping the laptop containing the video from Marc’s Cadillac Escalade back in 2005, then later trying to sell it back to JLo and Marc’s “associate” for one million dollars.

Marc Anthony shoves reporter to protect JLo

He may look like a little shrimp of a man, but don’t mess with Marc Anthony — or worse — his wife JLo. Marc apparently got in a scuffle with a photographer who was pursuing his wife last week at an awards ceremony:

The irate star yelled at photographers to keep their distance outside the Women in Film Awards in Century City, Calif., but exploded as one pushed him out of the way to get closer to his wife.

Lopez, who was hailed for her charity work at the event, had briefly stopped for a photo with co-host Nicola Maramotti.

A source tells the New York Daily News, “One photographer shoved Marc as he was trying to break through the crowd to get the photo.

“Marc fumed ‘Don’t ever push me again, and step back! Step back away from them’

“He physically shoved one guy back.”

I’d like to see a tape of this, but the way it’s told here sounds like he’s overreacting a la Sean Penn in the Madonna days.

And we’re back after seeing not just one but two commercials with Eva Longoria, and she, I must say, is rocking in red tonight.

I must say, as I am listening and watching the Marc Anthony montage, I love that man’s voice pero I can do without seeing him. He deserves priase for his talent. Ay I love the Latina doctora from Grey’s Anatomy, Sara Ramirez. She’s a Latina with curves and super sexy.

Brian McKnight is killing Marc Anthony’s music and Marc Anthony is crying, probably because it’s so bad. So far two of the songs were written during Marc’s Dayanara years. I must also say that his wife (whose name I will not type because I promised earlier today not to) looks lovely. Notice how emotional Marc gets. Also not how tiny he looked next to Jimmy Smits.

Whoa did Marc just confess to some infidelity by saying that he wrote every song performed for his now wife? That’s tacky considering when he wrote most of those songs he was married to the second mother of his children.

In more Jennifer Lopez bochinche – According to Female First Mrs. Jenny from the block is set to produce her own dance reality show (because there is nothing funnier than watching people who can’t dance dancing) with MTV which will be directly competeing with another dance reality show produced by her ex-hubby Chris Judd.

JLo depressed when she sees Ben?

Celeb blog The Bosh reports that JLo isn’t indifferent to her ex Ben Affleck now that she’s married to Marc Anthony. In fact, it seems she gets a bit melancholy when she sees Ben and his new family:

Jennifer Lopez has confessed that seeing her ex-Ben Affleck with his family makes her depressed.

The Latino star admitted the thought of Ben and Jennifer Garner and their new baby makes her sick reports Female First UK.

Jennifer told Britain’s Star magazine: “Just raising the subject depresses me.”

The Latin beauty – who has made no secret of her desire to have children with husband Marc Anthony – is reportedly pregnant. Lopez is due to give birth around Christmas, a source told America’s In Touch magazine.

JLo pregnant? How’d we miss that one?

Whether it’s true is anyone’s guess, but las malas lenguas don’t seem to quit. Some are calling her “Grey Lo” because apparently she hasn’t been keeping her dye job all that well maintained. God, give a girl a break.

Marc Anthony makes JLo slow down

Ever wonder what the hell it is that JLo sees in her hubby Marc Anthony? JLo spilled one of his qualities to Harper’s Bazaar, according to People Magazine:

“He makes me slow down and eat lunch, which I used not to do,” she says. “We have different philosophies. I’ve been so disciplined. His process is ‘Chill, don’t kill yourself.’

“Maybe,” she suggests, “I’ve got a martyr thing because I was raised Catholic. But with him I feel like I should relax and slow down. That’s a first for me.”

Seriously, JLo, slow down. You’re rich as hell, so you deserve a break today.

She doesn’t look like she’s getting one, though. Marc hauled JLo off to the D.R. and had her singing some duets with him at a concert there. I just hope that was nothing like their horrible “Escapemonos” fiasco at the 2005 Grammys.

Which one is it? Page Six tells us who:

Bronx bombshell Jennifer Lopez filed a lawsuit in L.A. yesterday to stop a salacious tell-all by her hunky first hubby – claiming Cuban stud Ojani Noa broke a no-tell pact and tried to shake her down for $5 million. J.Lo claims he’s using the racy manuscript to make a buck off their brief 1997 marriage. Among other tidbits, Noa claims J.Lo cheated on Sean “P. Diddy” Combs in 1999 with her current husband – but then-married-to-someone-else – Marc Anthony.

“Bronx bombshell”…”Cuban stud” — you gotta love the New York Post.

And on another note, not that P Diddy’s all that, but why would she cheat on him with Marc Anthony? Does not compute.

We picked this piece of chisme up first on Us Weekly’s blog. I didn’t even know they had one, but I’m loving the snarky tone of it.
