Luis Miguel raised eyebrows at his recent show in Las Vegas not only because his (“she’s not my daughter”) hija Michelle Salas was in attendance, but because of his hairstyle. Mexico’s El Universal calls it Sinatra-esque, and I call it plain old dorky:

Luis Miguel and Aracely Arámbula are expecting a second child, according to pop star Yuri, a close friend of the couple:

“I’m happy that Aracely is pregnant again. How great! I mean, well, get if over with. If I were I’d do the same,” she said in a press conference.

In January of this year, Aracely gave birth to Miguelito, the pair’s first child (and Luis Miguel’s second).

In reference to how close together Aracely’s pregnancies are, Yuri joked “These guys must not watch much TV”.

It’s time to meet the baby Suri of the Latino world. After months of wondering if Luis Miguel and Aracely Arambula really had a baby (since the family is so elusive), the first images of baby Miguelito have appeared in the Mexican edition of Hola! magazine. You’ll remember this is the same magazine that got exclusive rights to show off Aracely’s big belly.

And just how much did the rag, I mean mag have to shell out to feature the first familia of Mexican pop? According to some sources just 3 million dollars. Like the couple needs that money. Now if I were to ask for a few million for picture rights to my equally (if not more so) cute baby, I would be accuses of pimping my baby. Just goes to show you how celebs roll.

The moment you’ve been waiting for the past 9 months has finally arrived: Luismi has offically reproduced. The deets, according to 20 Minutos, are: boy, born at Cedars Sinai in L.A., C-Section, weighs about 7 lbs and is about 20 inches long. Name? Miguelito.

As expected, press everywhere is clamoring for a photo of little Miguelito.

Meanwhile, El Brujo Mayor — a popular Mexican psychic that creeps me out to no end — is predicting that Luismi and Araceli are on the road to destruction, and will break up some time in 2007.

The TomKat of the Latino community, Luis Miguel and Aracely Arambula may be parents. According to Univision.com, the Mexican couple are the proud parents of a little boy who was born via c-section in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center en Los Angeles. These reports have not been confirmed and to be honest, even if the baby was born it will be months before we see it.

On Monday, Luis Miguel and his never ending fading tan were here in the big NYC to promote his Christmas album,Navidades Luis Miguel. Now I’m a huge fan of Christmas music in all languages but at least one person present at the press conference had their own interpretation of the spirit of giving. According to Univision, an unknown person got close to the stage, got the singer’s attention, and in a “disrespectful way” threw at Luis Miguel’s feet an envelope, serving the Mexican singer notice of a civil lawsuit. The civil lawsuit has to do with an incident in a hotel in Aspen, Colorado, where Luismi allegedly attacked at least one person.

Seems like Telemundo’s Cotorreando had it all wrong when they said that Aracely Arambula’s bebe with crooner Luis Miguel is a girl. The Mexican actress and singer gave an exclusive interview and exclusive fotos to the magazine ¡HOLA!. Aracely graces the cover with her pregnancy belly exposed and saying the baby, due in December, is a boy that will be named Miguel. Wait. So the baby’s named will be Miguel Miguel?

Who cares what Hugo Chavez calls President Bush? Well ok I do but truth be told is that I also couldn’t help watching Telemundo’s Cotorreando with my lunch yesterday. On the chisme show it was “confirmed” that perpetually tanned crooner Luis Miguel and his novela star novia Aracely Arambula are expecting a child. The show claims that Aracely looks obviously pregnant with a child that is expected in December. Allgedly the couple will welcome a girl and are consdering naming her Marcela (after Luismi’s mami).

Claro que Luis Miguel and Aracely Arambula could be compared to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes in terms of their strange secrecy so it remains to be seen if the pregnancy is as real as Luismi’s skin color.

Aw, yeah, here we go with some Celebrity Justice Latino style! Actress Stephanie Salas, Luis Miguel’s ex and mother of his daughter, Michelle, ain’t happy about him denying paternity. She’s so unhappy in fact that she’s thinking about to take “el Sol” to court:

“I have talked to him a few times, I’ve heard from him a few times, but he hasn’t been responsive, that’s the problem,” Salas explained on the ‘Don Francisco presenta’ (Univisión) program. “I think I have a right to do this, and no woman should stand for this. On the contrary. And it’s not because he’s such a famous figure. I don’t think any woman should stand for this under any circumstances.”

People en español reports that Luis Miguel visited the child, now 16, “in the first years of her life”. After that it seems he fell into being just another deadbeat dad.
