Pro-Barack Obama Latinos (which according the the media, don’t exist) are gearing up for a whole week of fundraising geared towards the Latino community.
On the week of April 13th, Latinos across the country are planning low dollar fundraisers nationwide to support the candidacy of Senator Barack Obama. During this”Semana Latina”, Latinos nation-wide will say in one collective voice – Sí se puede por Obama.
One can assume that this new push is in part thanks to Frank Sánchez, who was was named national chair of Latino and Hispanic fundraising for the Obama campaign.Interestingly enough, Sanchez can be seen as a Clinton defector, since he was a Clinton Administration Assistant Secretary of Transportation.
Seriously, this is pandering of the worst kind. Teddy Kennedy might have been better off singing a reggaeton song to get the Latino youth vote pero this..
