Monday we told you that Jenna Bush was getting cozy with an Argentine PR student. How silly we were to think that Jenna would be that edgy, or that her fam would tolerate her dating anyone from “south of the border”. Her mom’s press secretary says it’s all a case of wishful thinking on the part of the argentino:

But First Lady Laura Bush’s press secretary, Susan D. Whitson, laughed off the report, telling PEOPLE, “We have found that young men who talk to the press and claim to be the boyfriend of Barbara or Jenna are just expressing wishful thoughts.”

I mean really, who wouldn’t want to date the daughter of the most hated man in the world?

People en español is reporting that Jenna Bush, the shrub’s daughter, has roped herself an argentino boyfriend. Apparently the man in question, a PR student from Buenos Aires, has been opening his mouth to local press.

“Jenna is a 10. I don’t have words to define her. She is humble, simple, and totally the opposite of a diva. Her personality captivates me…I can only say that I really enjoy being with her,” González Palazzo revealed to the magazine. According to the report, the first sparks of romance between these two came about as soon as they were introduced by a mutual Panamanian friend.

As you may recall, a few months back it was revealed that Jenna would be going “south of the border” to continue her career as a teacher. Well, it turns out that the destination was Argentina. Why am I not surprised?

According to the People en español article, Jenna’s coming back for Christmas with her argentino in tow. I wonder what W will think…

Just where Jenna Bush is headed is anyone’s guess (I mean isn’t Latin America just one big homogenous country to these people anyway?) but according to People Magazine, Dubya’s hija is going to continue her career as a teacher “south of the border”:

First daughter Jenna Bush, who for the past year and a half taught third grade at Washington’s Mount Pleasant charter school, is going to leave the nation’s capital and continue her teaching career in Latin America, reports The Washington Post.

Bush, 24, should be in place South of the Border by the end of summer, says the paper. The White House had no comment when asked of the plans and of the cost to taxpayers for the first daughter’s security in the faraway post.

Get ready Mexico, Colombia, Peru or wherever…hide the tequila/pisco/rum…there’s a new güera in town!
