Poor Not Feeling Freddy

ferrer.jpg While Democratic candidate for NYC mayor Freddy Ferrer may be talking up the reality that there are two New Yorks but according to an article in the Village Voice today, those more negatively impacted by that fact aren’t buying what Freddy is selling (and I’m not talking thongs).

NYC youth are hearing his speeches as similar in tone to the lecture they hear from their parents about what they went through “back in the day”. The poor feel that Freddy isn’t tackling their day to day problems including welfare.

With less than a week till Election Day, Freddy doesn’t have much more time to get the poor and city students to hear him on what really matters most to them.

Wearing Your Vote

tanga.jpg Political t-shirts are so old school. Forget wearing your vote on a button on your sleeve. Put your favorite candidate on your underwear! That’s where it’s at. The Daily Gotham, that hearts NYC Democratic candidate for Mayor, Freddy Ferrer, is offering up tangitas urging peeps to “Vote por Fernando”. No word if the Ferrer camp has endorsed the pantaletas or if Bloomberg is launching a counter campaign. Bloomers for Bloomberg anyone?
