Dun, dun! Fred Thompson aka Law and Order Guy Drops His Presidential Bid

Fred Thompson announced that he is dropping his bid to be the Republican nominee for president. The former Senator from Tennessee said in a statement:
Today,I have withdrawn my candidacy for president of the United States. I hope that my country and my party have benefited from our having made this effort.
Thompson did not say who he would endorse.

Apparently dissing Latinos by not showing up to the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO)forum wasn’t enough for Law & Order star and potential GOP presidential candidate Fred Thompson. Thompson said:
I don’t imagine they’re coming here to bring greetings from Castro. We’re living in the era of the suitcase bomb.
Thompson was forced to clarify a saying he was talking about Cuban spies not Cubans coming in legally although when you check out the video (after the jump) I think you’ll agree that’s sure not what it sounds like It sounds more like creating more Hispanic panic.
