Is our lovely Shak-attack finally going to tie the knot with her boyfriend, Antonio De la Rua? Rumors have been flying for years, but it seems that controversial (ousted) ex Argentine President Fernando De la Rua — Shaki’s would-be suegro — is hinting that the pair has at least talked about the possibility:

Former President Fernando de la Rua told Listin Diario that the hip-shaking international superstar and his son, Antonio, have talked about marriage and raising a family but have no immediate plans to tie the knot.

“They prefer to wait,” de la Rua said. “Kids today would rather live as a couple, they don’t believe that marriage is necessary to be happy.”

Those crazy kids of today. Mr. De La Rua also had some nice things to say about Shakira, calling her a “very good woman” and “a lover of peace“.
