7 Oct 2008With Daddy Yankee’s endorsement of John McCain, suddenly there is a revival of mixing Rican politics with popular music and fashion especially with the rap/reggaetonero culture.
To counter Daddy Yankee’s move to the right with McCain, Fat Joe publicly is lending his support to Barack Obama right from his head down to his toes.
And while we can debate the commodification of political figures on shoes and other gear, I wanna shift into the commodification of politics and politics show.

At least according to Stereohyped he is.
There is nothing more mystifying than when a rapper like Fat Joe plays the diva card and brings an entourage of 30 people to a less-than-top-tier awards show like the Ozone Awards, and then insists that the red carpet be shut down while he makes his way down it.
