Yesterday evening I told you that immigration activist mami, Elvira Arellano, has been arrested.This morning, Democracy Now! is reporting that it was indeed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that arrested Elvira outside a church in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon. The radio show also reported that Elvira had been deported and was currently in Tijuana.

Saul, her 8 year old son and U.S. citizen, received a hug and blessing from his mother before she was taken away.
