Defending Copa America champions Brazil are in the finals after beating Uruguay (and almost ending in a beat down). The semi-final match played in Maraicabo, Venezuela experienced a 14 minute delay when the floodlights failed. The two South American teams went back forth with the lead until the end with a tie of 2-2. The penalty kicks were gut wrenching to watch with Brazil winning in the end but the win wasn’t without incident. After Brazil won, they have thrown it in Uruguay’s face a bit too much causing a near scuffle.
Don’t forget tonight it’s Mexico vs. Argentina
to determine who will be up against Brazil in the final.
