The 2006 Bloggies winners have just been announced, and VL would like to extend our congratulations to the lovely and talented author of the winning blog for the “Best Latin American Blog” category — la “Cooking Diva”, herself, Chef Melissa De Leon.

I am happy, really happy for this award. I proudly accept it and share it with all the bloggers from Latin America and the whole world, specially the ones that work hard every day to be a window to their countries, their passions, and why not…their obsessions.

Thank you, Chef, and best of luck to Cooking Diva for future successes. Maybe a Food Network TV show? For now, she’ll enjoy the glory of being rated the best Latin American blog on the web, and get a cool book about blogs to boot.
