Where’s my chupacabra tee shirt when I need it? The town of Cuero, Texas says they are the current home of the legendary goat sucker. No se. I think it looks like a dog. A friend of mine says it looks like a guy she once kissed. What does it look like to you?

Chupacabra Caught in Texas

chupa.gifA little over a year ago I told readers about a report claiming that the Chupacabra, had been caught and killed in Maine. Well like all good Latinos, he either has lots of relatives or he lived to see another day, until he got to Texas a few days ago. While it hasn’t been confirmed that the smelly creature found near Cuero is Chupi, Texas State officials are doing DNA testing.

Phylis Canion found the corpse of a strange looking critter on her property in late July. Claiming that the animal killed numerous cats in the area and sucked the blood from her chickens for a number of years, Canion collected the blue-colored road kill off Hwy.183. Upon closer inspection, she couldn’t place a name to it.
Determined to find out the identity of her discovery, she contacted KENS-5, a CBS broadcast affiliate in San Antonio. The news station was also curious, and sent a tissue sample to Texas State University-San Marcos for DNA testing.

Chupacabra Killed?

fenomeno-chupacabra-brasil.gifRemember the chupacabra? It’s that vampire alien creature that terrorized farm animals from here to South America and haunted children’s dreams almost as much as el cuco? It is my sad duty to inform readers that the chupacabra may have been killed. According to Comcast News:

Residents are wondering if an animal found dead over the weekend may be the mysterious creature that has mauled dogs, frightened residents and been the subject of local legend for half a generation.Michelle O’Donnell of Turner spotted the animal near her yard about a week before it was killed. She called it a “hybrid mutant of something. It was evil, evil looking. And it had a horrible stench I will never forget,”

The animal, which was said to be charcoal gray, weighing between 40 and 50 pounds and having a bushy tail, a short snout, short ears and curled fangs hanging over its lips was hit by a car. My only question is, what was the Chupacabra doing in Maine of all places? Is that where Chupi has his summer home?
