In this video testimony, the parents of Sean Bell, killed by the NYPD in 2006, speak out on what justice looks like to them.

wow. I hadn’t heard of this story. I did follow the Jena 6 story though, and when I saw it I thought “that name sounds familiar.” Turns out one of the Jena 6 student’s names was Mychal Bell. It’s sad when there are so many stories of injustice the names run together in your head.
