14 Jun 2010This past weekend, I.C.E. raided two Sizzler restaurants in Phoenix after a disgruntled former employee contacted Department of Homeland Security.
The former manager said that he had been fired for refusing to hired undocumented worked. Not surprisingly, Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s office, who have moved ahead with the President’s immigration reform plan a.k.a detain and deport, celebrated this raid as a victory.
I.C.E was disappointed though that they could only detain 9 people as opposed to the 23 they had expected.
How much you want to bet that the other “suspected undocumented” people were Latino?

fyi, it looks like Maricopa County Sheriff Conducted the raid–generally speaking, I think ICE believes itself above low-level raids such as that of restaurants.
Just think how close this “raid” fever was in arriving to Suffolk County under Steve Levy. Any pissed off former employee would have great power to ruin people’s lives with one phone call.

Maricopa County has a 287(g) agreement with DHS. These employee raids are the rising trend

Yeah, which is the most damning thing on Obama, that even though there are two Justice Department Probes(abuse of power; Civil Rights) into Maricopa County, they still have the 287(g). The latter is freely revocable, yet, yet, what could possibly be the explanation other than a. Obama doesn’t give a fuck except for political reasonsor b. there are financial interests involved.

I’d say the fact that the Feds have not canceled there 287g agreement with Arpaio is a crime itself. The evidence is so damning that Arpaio is irrefutably corrupt.
