Joe Biden on Edward Kennedy

26 Aug 2009Joe Biden has a reputation of being a bit of bumbling jackass when it comes to talking (remember the panic button he hit with his commentary on airplanes and swine flu?), but with his remarks on Edward Kennedy passing away, he even had me teary eyed.

this is the Biden we know from Delaware – you must not be paying attention to his record on crime, his record for women, his record on the supreme court. There is nobody who has done more to protect families and the working class than Biden. Biden is a class act and I tired of these infantile characterizations from those who don’t read history.

scanning–I never said anything about his politics–I said his *speaking skills* has a reputation. i do know quite a bit about him, actually–that he does have a good record with women and working class people and that he ALSO voted to make it harder for those women and working class people to declare bankruptcy. He’s got a mixed bag politically just like Edward Kennedy did. That’s just the life of a politician.
