Raid in Sheriff Joe’s Country Leaves a 9 Year Old Girl Without Parents

I cannot wrap my mind around a few things at play here.

One, how anti-immigration activists can dehumanize the children of immigrants and immigrant children to the point that leaving a child without parents is ok. Or that a 9 year old’s murder is ok.

I also cannot understand how President Obama can keep postponing meetings on immigration and legislators drag their feet as if people are not being killed and children aren’t being left as defacto orphans by immigration enforcement.

I live on a ranch on the texmex border. We have a lot of immigrant traffic. They have very sad stories. It is a horrible journey. I made this movie yesterday. I wish people understood the dangers.

For Elizabeth: you did the right thing. Other ranchers chase the immigrants; you wanted to save his life. He seemed clueless, as are many of those who nevertheless cross into the country. Almost 750,000 of them are being arrested yearly. Many of them -I’ve seen it- try again and again. One of them told me (in Spanish): “I’ll try tomorrow, because it will be the eleventh time; I’ll go back to my rancho and sell my cow”. This is a no win situation for everybody and it has to change. But that change asks for a cultural revolution here, with the US becoming more and more a Latin American country. Like Argentina.

How about sending some of your own (whichever country it is) back to change your native country? Provide education, allow business opportunities, change or overthrow corrupt political parties? No, you’d rather complain about a country that provides so much, at the cost of middle class taxpayers, who really do not have a voice! How about changing your own countries, instead of trying to change the USA? It just shows what a bunch of hyprocrites you are!!!

See this just goes to prove your ignorance. My family is from this country. We were invaded by the U.S. The U.S came into my country and tried to change it and still is for it’s own use and gain. The U.S. is the hypocrite.

Maegan La Mala does not sound Aztec. Spanish conquistadors actually stole it from the Aztecs and slaughtered them by the millions. U.S. however won this country in the Spanish-American War.

No Maegan is Irish. I’m Puerto Rican. Jeez I love the assumptions.
