So this woman has received death threats for doing *exactly* what we’ve been told we’re supposed to do–i.e. have lots of babies and don’t ever ever abort never ever because then you would be a murderer and not a real supporter of life and femininity.
I’ve wondered for a while if this woman was a woman of color or queer or something because unlike other women who’ve had tons of children, she’s been getting flack from the beginning. Now we know that at the very least she is a single mother (horrors of horrors), and still has to go through school. Is that what has got everybody all in a tizzy? That she’s a single mother? Well, let’s see:
So that’s…woman, living with parents, no husband, no job. If she has all those things, would she be allowed to have kids with no rich white male media makers calling for her to have her children taken away from her? I wonder, could it be possible that this woman could be a good mother even if she *is* a woman that lives with her parents and has no husband or a job?
Choosing to abort a fetus means you are a bad woman, choosing to have a child means you are a bad mother. Either way, it’s the woman that gets screwed. What tests will men have to pass before they’re allowed to have kids without being threatened on national television?

I hope you’re not trying to insinuate that this woman is responsible enough to be a mother of so many children. She doesn’t even have a damn job…

You have to ask urself what u mean by “Good Mother”. Yes she may love her children very much but can she PROVIDE a good education, living space, food? it doesnt appear that way…alot of women may want 14 children to love and play with, but we think of the children and the kind of life they will have before having them…

I have friends who have done IVF and even with insurance it is about 10,000 how did this mother pay for it not once but 7 times? All of her children are IVF babies. I am not judging her just curious. I wonder what is in it for the doctor that implanted 8 eggs. The same clinic did all of her IVF so they know that she had 6 other children. Maybe insted of questioning mom we should be talking to the doctor.

Personally, I have no problem with the idea of people having a large family – Although I could never do it and I tihnk its a bit insane in this economy to have a large family, fine, whatever, if they can AFFORD to PROVIDE the necessaries for the family then that is their call. BUT this woman can’t. I have no problem with single mothers either… but 14 kids? Uncool. She said she just wanted a family and kids. She already had one. Its just unresponsible of her and now those of us in Cali will have to put forth OUR tax dollars to support this family. You are WAY extreme… its totally not a fight between abortion and having a family… shes a bad mother because she is having children beyond her means of taking care of them. She shouldn’t have gone through the procedure….honestly, this rant is completely ill informed and seems more like an anti-abortion rant than “was the woman doing the responsible smart thing.”

its not controversial because she is a single mother – it is controversial because NOW she does not have the means to provide…. good for you, working to provide… she should have WAITED until after she was done with school and providing… not waiting to provide.

This woman is crazy, she should’ve figured out how she was going to provide for these children before they were born…This is very irresponsible. She should’ve been hustling for a job too. I’m also trying to figure out how she will be going back to school and taking care of all these children. I’m in school plus working now without any children, that itself is a full-time job for me….She will be drove to insanity. There is nothing wrong with wanting a family, but she took it too far, she should’ve thought of how she will provide for these children. I’m truly against abortion, but personally, she should’ve never had any additional children. She need to give those children up for adoption….I feel sorry for those children and she has the nerve to go into the profession of counseling! I mean I’m not perfect, but she needs counseling counseling herself….This is ridiculous!

Six babies are more than enough for a single, I can’t imagine how hard it will be for her with 14 children!
The people who gave the certificate to her for a sperm donation, I can’t believe where this world has come to.
This is absolutely outrageous!
