President Obama Dia 2 : Shutting Down Gitmo

obama_emanuel_012109.jpgYesterday, I wrote how President Obama suspended some trials of Guantanamo Bay prisoners. Obama will signed executive orders not just shutting down Gitmo within a year, but also other U.S. secret prisons globally.

Some polls are showing mixed public reaction to the expected undoing of Bush detention policies. My question is why? If the United States really wants to clean up it’s global image then it needs to get rid of these centers that amount to torture camps and function outside the rule of law that so many are fond of talking about.

I’m still waiting for Obama to call for a suspension to ICE raids.

All praise Obama for showing the rest of the world how weak we have become as a nation and how we are now free for the taking. Prepare for another terrorist attack on American soil in the very near future that will result in the deaths of several hundred thousand Americans. What in the hell is this man thinking? This is not the time to drop our guard for the sake of a better world image. This is a victory for the terrorist organizations world wide and Obama has shown his ignorance of world politics and an understanding of national security. If he wants the prisoners out of Gitmo he should house them at the White House with himself and his family. This is only the beginning of the stupid moves of a stupid liberal minded greenhorn President that is destined to destroy America for the sake of the rest of the world. I forsee an impeachment if this bonehead continues to make such ignorant decisions that damage our nation.
