1 Response to Last Day to Vote for the DREAM Act

I really hope that the dream act can pass. I on the other hand can’t hold my breath and expect it to pass. The lives of thousands maybe even millions of students are in limbo. I just don’t believe that they will pass an immigration reform, regardless of who it’s for. My life and the lives of many of my friends depend on it. The reason why I don’t think anything is going to happen is because the economy is in the hole right now. Anti-immigrant sentiment is worst when the host country’s economy is in bad shape. Besides, how can obama explain to the American public why he’s putting 12 million new workers into an economy that can barely sustain the workers it already has? Apart from that, it seems to me that this administration made it very clear of what it intentions were when Obama tapped gov. Janet napoletano. . I live AZ, I know first hand what it’s like to live in fear because of the laws that this governor has passed. She was the first governor to send the national guard to the border. I really, really hope that the Obama adm. Passes an immigration reform.
