The nominees for the Golden Globes were announced and there are some Spanish language names included.
The Spanish duo of Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz were nominated for Best Performance by an Actor and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role, respectively, for their work in Woody Allan’s Vicky Christina Barcelona. Has anyone seen this film?
America Ferrera was nominated in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Comedy Series or Musical for her work on Ugly Betty. Does anyone still watch that show?
I clearly need to consume more pop culture.

How embarassing that there are such small definitions of what “Latino” is.

The headline says Latino yes, pero if you note in the post I said “Spanish Speaking” porque I know that he and Penelope are from Spain. No embarrassment here Sancho.
