What Latinos Want Michelle Obama to Wear on Innaguration Day

A few Latino designers have submitted sketches of what their vision for Michelle Obama's inaugural gown is.
My favorite is this one from Carolina Herrera.

Venezolana Herrera also offered a more staid tweed suit like outfit.
Other Latino designers who submitted sketches for consideration include Dominicano Oscar de la Renta and Zero + Maria from Chile.
You can see sketches from the other designers at Hissip.

THIS Latina does not care for any of the above designers that Latin@s purportedly want M. Obama to wear! None of the above "Latino" designers have incorporated "normal"-sized designs into their lines. Though exceptionally talented they are, they continue to cater to the wealthy, thin and androgynous.
Although this practice it common in the fashion world, it leaves out many of their fellow Latin@s, African-Americans and other cultural groups that do not fit into the patriarchal and anglo-centric oriented industry of haute couture. This practice ultimately reinforces the idea that slenderness and wealth are the requisites of beauty and do not include other variations and tastes (translation: "curvy" Latinas, or like me, una gordita).
Incredulous? Look at Michelle! She is not tooth-pick thin nor stereotypically voluptuous; in fact, she is beautifully normal-not-model sized. I'd like her to pick a designer that is accessible as she is.
