I woke up this morning wondering if it was all a dream. Pero it’s not. Barack Obama is the next U.S. president.
Looks like the final electoral vote count is Obama: 364 to
McCain: 173. News sources, including CNN and NBC say that 66 percent of the Latino vote went to Obama. And yes we can, celebrate this victory for what it is and it’s historic place. Kevin over at A Slant Truth reminds us that:
When Barack Obama was born, his parent’s marriage was illegal in many states.
50 years ago, Barack Obama wouldn’t have been able to drink from the same water fountain as John McCain, or eat in the same restaurant. He would have had to give up his seat on the bus and move to the back.
Pero there is a long way to go. Already my twitter friends and I are bracing ourselves for the political talking heads to declare the end of racism and usher in a post-racial world, when as people of color we know that our job is now to fight even harder.
Celebrate and then get ready to work.

For the first time in my adult life, I am not proud of my country. Not God bless America, but God damned America for being fooled by a complete fraud with no experience. Obama can now begin to change America into the likes of Cuba or other socialistic countries.

Before Obama is sworn in he should be forced to produce an original birth certificate from Hawaii. A “certificate of live birth” is not a substitute for a birth certificate any where in the country. If Obama was truely born in Hawaii, and not in Kenya as many suspect, he can easily put this issue to rest by presenting his birth certificate. If not, he will always be considered an illegitimate President by millions of Americans.
