5 Nov 2008I didn’t like his speech at all. Many are touting John McCain’s concession speech as the speech of his life pero to me it sounded like he was claiming the Obama victory as the end of racism. I also was disgusted at the poor sportsmanship of the McCain support crowd who yelled things that I thankfully couldn’t make out and booed whenever Obama’s name was mentioned.

in all my emotion there was one moment i was feeling it, in the beginning where he mentioned obama’s g’ma not being there to see it. but that was more about his gma than mccain. naw, it was nothing special. glad this fool is done with.

I believe both candidates wanted the best for our nation, McCain gave Obama a good run for the money, tho’. I will honor our new President-Elect Obama.

I thought hey gave as best a speech as he possibly could. I respect him for the things he said during his speech. If he would have had this tone in his entire campaign maybe he would have had a better chance. I don’t believe hey was trying to insinuate that racism is completely over but that this is a defining moment were the nation has witnessed a colored person attain the highest position possible in our nation’s government. I applaud him and I am ecstatic about our new president.
