Last night’s debate, that was liveblogged last night, was probably the most exciting of the debates so far, touching upon controversial issues like abortion and the all too important issues like Joe the Plumber, McCain’s hurt feelings, and who knows more terrorists.
Pero what really annoyed me, besides the fact that immigration was mentioned without actually being discussed, was all John McCain’s facial expressions or “muecas” as we call them in Spanish. And trust me, I am the queen of reactionary muecas! Pero John McCain’s bug eyed expressions, gaping open mouth, and nasty smirk made me want to get all violent. Look how he mocks the idea of women’s health including reproductive rights.
Ready for more faces of McCain?
Ok no one is ready for McCain’s faces, pero the shocked look that he gives upon hearing that Joe the Plumber (who was the invisible super star of the night) would have a zero fine. Maybe since McCain has so much he can’t understand the concept of nothing?
The Daily Kos (whom I generally don’t like to link to), has a montage of McCain’s muecas.
So far, all the conclusions by all the pundits are
totally based upon POLLS. Not a single actual vote
has been cast yet. Obama supporters gush at how
well their man has done in the debates, which proves
once again that Obama is a good debater and a good
speaker. It doesn’t say anything about his character,
judgement, or what kind of a leader he would be.
I still would rather trust a man who would not sell out
his fellow prisoners, even during 5 years of torture,
than to trust a man who betrayed a 20 year friendship,
for personal ambition. And … regarding this election,
until people actually vote … it ain’t over till it’s over!
McCain and Palin look, act and talk like amiable robots… both of them are the perfect combination to carry on the legacy of George W. Bush.
the fact that anyone is praising McCain for his performance in the third debate proves that he and Palin have lowered people’s expectations down to nothing (don’t forget, the VP debates were a tie!)
