Amy Goodman Arrested at the RNC

Last night was a pretty intense night at the Republican National Convention. Protesters at the RNC were pepper sprayed, beaten with clubs, indiscriminately arrested and otherwise harassed nonstop. Among the arrested was noted indy media journalist and Democracy Now! broadcaster, Amy Goodman.

Abdel Kouddous was slammed against a wall and the ground, leaving his arms scraped and bloodied. He sustained other injuries to his chest and back. Salazar’s violent arrest by baton-wielding officers, during which she was slammed to the ground while yelling, “I’m Press! Press!,” resulted in her nose bleeding, as well as causing facial pain. Goodman’s arm was violently yanked by police as she was arrested.

On Tuesday, Democracy Now! will broadcast video of these arrests, as well as the broader police action.

There were also protesters and incidents at the DNC, but the leftist media chose not to cover it because of the bad image it would have given the squeaky clean Demoncraps. Go figure.

I'll accept amusing and also educated enough to know the facts about media coverage (all about Obama, the fraud) and about their agenda (leftist) to do all they can to support their Golden Boy with his socialist vision of a changed America. Kind of difficult to have them cover something that has already happened, but thank for thinking that I have that capability.

sigh...i'm dreaming of the day we had a damn socialist running for president. listen, you have no fan of obama in me, so I feel you on the Golden Boy thing. As far as the protests go, tho, I can promise you, I have no investment in who is doing what, I think it's un-American, anti-democracy, (or more simply, bullshit), that *any* government (whether it's run by Democrats, Republicans, or Godzilla) has the right to inflict any form of violence on it's citizens. that's not why I pay taxes.

I'm guessing it's probably why YOU pay taxes, but, then again, that's probably why you hate me and I think you are amusing.
