Something we’re not to psyched about? The possibility of mountain lions.
A mountain lion slunk into the master bedroom of an Idledale home early Monday, snatched a yellow Labrador retriever and vanished.
Churchill said the residents had left open the French doors to their bedroom, apparently to cool the house, and didn’t have screens.
The dog’s body was found near the property.
If we had a dog, we wouldn’t bring it with us to Denver.

Hi Jennifer,
I occasionally read VivirLatino and have read a few articles you have written for various publications. I see you are going to the DNC in Denver this month. I don’t know if you have got your ticket yet, but I suggest that you come a day early to an event on the 24th called City to City Pachanga. Here is an overview of the event:
The City to City Pachanga will take place on the Sunday before the Democratic National Convention in the heart of one of Denver’s most historic neighborhoods. Expected attendance is 5,000 + families and individuals including many city and state officials and dignitaries from across the country. The City to City Pachanga will feature live music with special guest star appearances, food vendors offering the best in Denver cuisine, drink and VIP section for sponsors.
A friend of mine is one of the organizers so let me know if you are interested and I can get you into the media area.
