14russert_190.jpgLast Friday afternoon, after suffering a sudden heart attack at the Washington bureau of NBC News, Tim Russert, the 58 year old moderator of Meet the Press, passed away.

Tim Russert was part of my Sunday routine, along with bagels and sections of the New York Times scattered across my bed. Russert, who was also the Washington bureau chief and a senior vice president of NBC News, I always remember him asking tough questions of all those who sat with him and he was respected for that. His opinion, style, and perspective will be missed and cannot be replaced.
