41lF9uLxXjL._SL500_SL150_.jpgDid you get the papi on your life a tie? The papi in my lift spent the warm NYC afternoon with the familia at Central Park’s Summerstage listening to salsa estrella Victor Manuelle.

Manuelle, whose performance was touted as his first U.S. appearance to promote his new CD, Soy, had the crowd packed with Latinos from all over the world, although the lone star of the Puerto Rican flag against the red, white, and blue, was obviously the dominant one. In fact, given the gear of some of the attendees, it would be easy for someone to confuse the Victor Manuelle concert with a mini Rican day parade.

The crowd was full of fathers and families of all ages, who wanted nothing more to hear Victor Manuelle and dance to his music. So much so, that the M.C.’s of the concert, from the NYC radio station la Kalle, were booed numerous times.
Once Victor came out, it was obvious why.

A concert that can get people moving like that had to be good.
