Live Blogging Hillary Clinton's Speech After Obama Wins Dem Nomination
21:36 H | Topics: US Presidential Race 2008
Hillary Clinton thanked South Dakota for having the last word in the Democratic Primary (too bad they were wrong).
Good move for her recognizing Obama's victory except she never said the word victory, or that he won. She just congratulated him and his supporters. There was no mention of the historic moment his nomination represents.
Dreams, prayers, wishes....blah, blah, blah.
She says she's committed to uniting the Democratic Party, but are her followers ready to do the same?

Sen. Clinton doesn't want the Democratic Party to lose but that's the path chosen by the superdelegates.
Obama clinched a stolen nomination with the MI delegates he hijacked. His endorsements from superdelegates have no integrity and are irresponsible.
No doubt Obama will be defeated in November when he will crash and burn and the Democratic Party will be a train wreck.
Hillary Clinton supporters should work for his resounding defeat and vote for McCain. I will vote for McCain in a swing state. Obama, his supporters, and the DNC must be "punished" for not playing fair and square.
Superdelegates have failed in their responsibility to endorse Sen. Clinton as the best qualified and the strongest presidential candidate to win the general election in a landslide victory hands down.

crate3 are you sure you are a democrat? You are doing exactly what the opposition wants. Rather then voting along party lines and supporting the democratic nominee, you are willing to cast your ballet for a republican? One that has done nothing but support the current administrations failed policies. You would rather sit by and watch the war go on for "100 years"? That is if you remember how long McCain wants to have troops deployed in Iraq. You would rather vote for person that will gladly take the support and fund raising money of the current President, but avoids being seen with him for rear it will hurt him politically. That is by all means your right as an American, but in my view that is truly irresponsible.

Rich,
Why does everybody have to be a democrat or a republican instead of just an American. A responsible American would research and look at all that each candidate offers and not simply vote along party lines. It is so sad to see the country so divided and this is one of the reasons why. I have researched all three, and for me, Senator Clinton is the best candidate we have. I'm 42 and I am so disappointed that every election year I have to decide between bad and worst, never truly having a true choice, and I was truly hoping this year would be different. But I feel like the media has decided this primary for us. Senator Obama scares me, the more we know about him and the people he is associated with makes me wonder what more will come out. Why didn't the media bring up any of these things before? By the way, Mccain does not always go along with President Bush, if you remember the Republican party did not really want McCain to win, but the votes of the American people decided that primary and not political bosses. McCain also does not want the war to go on for 100 years, he was talking about having a presence in a part of the world where Al Qaeda is training. (We still have military in South Korea). And McCain and President Bush appeared together last week at a fund raiser in Arizona. Let's all be not just responsible but informed Americans. HILLARY DON'T GIVE UP!
