tiaras.jpgLast night el Museo del Barrio held its 15th Annual Gala. Yours truly grabbed her tiara and headed to Cipriani’s in midtown Manhattan to spot the beautiful people and drink champagne at the Quinceñero. As you can see from the picture, tiaras were provided for those that left theirs at home.

chamber.jpgThere was music for the cocktail hour.

angel.jpgDesigner Angel Sanchez stuck with the black and white theme.

More pictures after the jump.

Beautyqueens.jpgMiss Teen USA Hilary Cruz and Miss USA Crystle Stewart.

Melissa%20Mark.jpgCity Council Woman for el Barrio, Melissa Mark Viverito, who didn’t get the memo about the dress code for the event or just didn’t care (which is fine by me).

Narcis%20y%20yaz.jpgNarciso Rodriguez and Yaz Hernandez.

You will notice that I don’t have pictures or an interview with the guest of honor of the evening, Mario Vargas Llosa. That man avoided le prensa like no one’s business. When I did find him, he was leaving the bathroom and headed straight to his table.

me.jpgLast but not least, me. Lowly bloggers don’t get to walk the red carpet.
