Before the May 1st march for immigrants in NYC, the film Beyond Borders is showing.

the Tribeca Film Institute will hold an exclusive one-day screening of the new feature documentary Beyond Borders – The Debate Over Human Migration on May 1st at 1PM at the AMC 19th St. East theatres, 890 Broadway at 19th Street. Beyond Borders tackles the immigration debate head-on with those supportive of immigration reform in the US and those very much against it. Including theorists such as Noam Chomsky, and anti-immigration activists, the Minute Men Project. This timely documentary addresses some of American voters’ primary concerns in this election; immigrants, their rights when crossing the border, and how it will affect US citizens.

I’m going to try and make it to the screening with my kids before the march. You should as well if you’re going to be in the NYC area.
