Super Mojado in the Ring for Immigrants

Lucha libre was a huge part of my childhood. Sundays with papi, my grandfather, were spent watching the antics of the colorful characters but who knew it could get so political? Entering the ring is Super Mojado.
Super Mojado introduced himself yesterday as a hero for Southern California’s immigrant community. A local wrestling promoter said that Super Mojado will star in a charity bout this weekend with proceeds going to illegal immigrants who were detained in a recent raid.

Glad to hear someone in the public eye has some guts….guess he won’t be on Univision much!
