No Clear Winner in Super Tuesday

I stayed up late last night watching the returns come in, and by the time I went to bed, the only thing that was clear to me was that Hillary had taken my home state and Obama seemed to take most of the others. Who was the real winner on Super Tuesday? It seems we won't know that for a while. At best we can say that Obama and Clinton are pretty much in the same place. But some interesting points can be culled from the exit polls.
Contrary to what some expected, race apparently wasn't the most important factor. While many expected Latinos in California to vote with a man of color (while others thought this might actually go against Obama in the end) they did not, turning out in record numbers to cast a ballot for Hillary Clinton.
One journalist on CNN last night said this primary wasn't about race but about class. Nationwide, according to exit polls, Clinton took the vote of the majority of people who make less than $50K per year. Obama took those who make over $50K, with, according to CNN, his strongest cohort being those who make over $100K.
Why is this?
And if the choice wasn't about race, was it about gender for some? The International Herald Tribune reports that Obama was extremely successful among white male voters. Roger Cohen of IHT says that's because Obama hasn't been "racialized".
What do you think? Why did Latinos ultimately opt for Clinton? Why are the poorer voting for Clinton and the richer voting for Obama? Let us know what you think in the comments.
