Today the 2008 Flamenco Festival kicks off bringing its brightest and most talented stars straight from Spain into your city. The tour features Carmen Linares and Miguel Poveda, Tomatito, Belen Maya, Merche Esmeralda, Rocio Molina, Ballet Flamenco and Eva Yerbabuena. Wonderful! I really like flamenco dance and music. They show the Arab influence in Hispanic culture. Eight years of muslim rule left Spain with a strong Arabic influence.
