Debate Hangover: MoveOn Endorses Obama, Coulter Endorses…Hillary?

Grassroots political organization MoveOn, in a rather unsurprising move, has endorsed Senator Barack Obama as their candidate for president:

“We’ve learned that the key to achieving change in Washington without compromising core values is having a galvanized electorate to back you up,” said Executive Director Eli Pariser, “and Barack Obama has our members ‘fired up and ready to go’ on that front.”

Meanwhile, in what might be a kiss of death for Hillary Clinton, conservative loca Ann Coulter said on Fox News that she would not only vote for Hillary in a race McCain-Clinton face-off, but that she would even campaign for her. She says that Hillary is “more conservative” than John McCain and “lept up” in supporting troop surge in Iraq. Check out the video above.

I caught the debate last night and was pretty disappointed. Obama and Clinton, in an attempt to live down criticism about their brawling at the last debate, seemed like clones of each other. It was virtually impossible to distinguish between the stances of each on any topic with the exception of healthcare. It was all peace and love and no real answers. On immigration, Obama was strictly party line and Hillary sounded a lot more progressive.

Meanwhile, at least one Latino commentator suggests McCain might the right choice for Latinos.
