Chavez retreats...to the "retrete"

While the world is still reeling from the uncomfortable confrontation between Spain's King Juan Carlos I and Hugo Chavez, it seems the Venezuelan leader might not heed the advice of the King but will listen to the call of nature. Reuters, in a more frisky than usual dispatch from Caracas, writes:

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez would not shut up for Spain's king but, over the weekend, he heeded a higher calling to stop talking -- his bladder.

Surrounded by a throng of reporters at an OPEC summit in Saudi Arabia, the president, who enjoys the media spotlight and often answers questions at length, excused himself.

"Look, I have to go," Chavez said in comments aired on Venezuelan state television. "For a while now, I have needed to go to the bathroom and I am going to pee ... Do you want me to pee on you?"

You have to love blogging this beat because Mr. Chavez does all the work for us. I couldn't possibly come up with something more entertaining for you to read than the last line of his quote. And I assume the answer was an resounding "no", as he quickly fled the scene and whizzed off to the servicios.

So Senor Chavez is lamb blasting all the back stabbers that were helping to incite the Great Satans~> efforts to overthrow him a while back, with a little help from the National Endowment for Democracy 'mafia' - a CIA front group, then working in Venezuela to retaliate for Hugo's nationalization of Venezuela's oil industry from the US Exxon-Mobile, Phillips Petroleum and British Petroleum 'robber barons?'

King Juan Carlos was, like George W. Bush certainly and definately (s)elected by the fascist Generalissimo Franco to the Spanish throne - so what's the problem? :)

S 'matter, Hugo got the 'boys' by the gonads and squeezed much too hard?
