Two very famous musical groups of feline nomenclature — Los Tigres del Norte and Jaguares — came together to give a voice to the plight of immigrants all over the world at the closing ceremony of the Universal Culture Forum 2007, which took place in Monterrey, Mexico last night.
Los Tigres performed their songs related to immigration, such as “Jaula de Oro” and “Paisano” along with Jaguares before an audience of over one hundred thousand people after the closing of a series of workshops on the topic of immigration.
The show was free to the public, but organizers were asking for a voluntary donation, which will be donated to the Mexican Red Cross to help support their assistance efforts in Tabasco, where thousands have been left homeless as a result of serious flooding.
