Paulina Rubio could be accused of being a little too patriotic. She’s metida en un pedo — in big trouble — for posing in her birthday suit, covered only by the Mexican flag.

Cosmopolitan magazine’s Spanish edition features Paulina Rubio, 36, apparently naked underneath a red, white and green sheet.

Mexico’s Interior Department said the photographs may have violated an article in the National Flag, Shield and Anthem Law.

“May have violated?” Anybody remember this (relatively tame) incident?

The UK’s SkyNews reports that the Paulina could be fined around $4000 for the “desecration” of the Mexican flag. She can tack that on to her mounting Mexican tax debts. Maybe she should have stuck to pretending to be Spanish.
