Thalia is a mami

Everybody’s favorite princesita, Thalia, gave birth to a baby girl in New York City on Sunday. The little bundle of joy is named Sabrina SakaĆ«, and according to reports, her middle name means “princess” in Japanese.

Not one to wait around, Thalia called her friend “La Flaca”, Lily Estefan, on the El Gordo y La Flaca TV show to give her the good news.

Thalia was reportedly in labor for some 20 hours, and little Sabrina weighed in at 3.8 kilograms — 8.37 pounds.

As a tribute to Thalia’s newfound motherhood, why not look back at the last time Thalia discovered she was a mom: this classic clip of when Maria found out she was actually Nandito’s mama in that television masterpiece Maria la del Barrio.
