A Brazilian actress named Daniela Barbosa de Carneiro is now British nobility, since she just married film legend and Oscar winner Ben Kingsley, a knight. People reports:

Kingsley, 63, and Barbosa, 34, who have been together since February 2006, marked their wedding with a private reception for friends and family members in the garden of their home in Oxfordshire, England.

The 1982 Gandhi Best Actor called the festivities “blissfully private and beautiful. … We had a lovely lunch on the lawn. It was very simple and very happy.”

The couple are now in Toronto, where they reportedly are attending the film festival and Kingsley is shooting The Love Guru with Mike Myers, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Alba.

“It is a perfectly-balanced relationship, which like scales, includes its swings,” the new groom is quoted as saying. “Without sounding pompous, she looks like a combination of ancient Egypt and ancient Rome. I love mythology and Shakespeare and so does she. We have that connection.”

This is Kingsley’s 4th marriage, and while People reports that Barbosa is an actress, the brutal British press is calling her “a Brazilian waitress”, either because they are elitist or to play up the fairytale angle.
