Community up in arms over undocumented "hotline"

Community members and clergy in Maricopa County, Arizona are calling for a stop to an initiative by the Sheriff to offer hotlines for reporting undocumented immigrants to authorities:

The hotline, they say, perpetuates a climate of fear within the immigrant community, raises the chance of racial profiling and opens the possibility for people to take revenge on former friends and family.

"What right does he have to investigate people based on the color of their skin, or their accent or the way they look," said Phoenix attorney Antonio Bustamante. "I want him to stop this nonsense and enforce criminal law instead of going after landscapers and nannies. He needs to stop this hotline."

Latino leaders are calling the hotlines unconstitutional but the Sheriff, Joe Arpaio, isn't backing down -- not by a long shot. According to the Arizona Republic, he's even trapping undocumented immigrants as they visit their family members in the county jail: "Once they come in, we're going to have to arrest them and turn them over to ICE."

So much for love thy neighbor.

The attorney who says Sheriff Arpaio is judging people by the color of their skin is for all intensive purposes an Aztlaner or someone who is a racist himself. This attorney apparently wants his own ethnic group to be able to have more privileges (being able to break our laws) than the people of this country. That is because many Mexicans and chicanos have a hidden agenda called "Aztlan" (the name of the movement to take over 7 SW U.S. states and give them to Mexico because Mexico owned it for all of 24 years. Of course, Mexico stole it from Spain who owned it for 300 years and Spain stole it from the American Indians who owned it for thousands of years! And American Indians are from very different races and not the ones in Mexico! Sheriff Arpaio is trying to protect the people of this country but this Mexican-American attorneys apparently is a "traitor" and does not care about or owe his allegiance to the U.S. but to Mexico!
