1%2Bcopia.jpgAh, crushes. How many of us have pined after celebrities, sighed for politicians, and dreamed of romantic interludes with other public figures. Most of us don’t write about these little fantasies on our blogs (thank God) but a certain Peruvian journalist, one Luis Iparraguirre (pictured above, in the middle), did, and let the world know about his love for his country’s Foreign Minister, Mercedes Araoz. His blog, Crónicas de Pollada (gotta love that name), was the scene of the declaration of love, and little did he know that his “Carta de Amor” would actually reach the object of his affections:

In a love letter published on his blog, journalist Luis Iparraguirre tells the Minister: “Can I call you Meche? Can I call you mine? Hey, I know you are not, but you will be tonight in my dreams.”

Aráoz, age 45 and divorced, told press that the declaration doesn’t bother her. “He’s very polite, correct and is a jokester,” she responded about her cyberadmirer.

Quite the poet, Ipaguirre’s attempts to seduce the Minister included telling her about his all-out acceptance of her physique. He says he doesn’t care that she doesn’t have

“Lucy Liu’s butt, Drew Barrymore’s breasts, Cameron Diaz’s smile. I just want you to be my angel, and I’ll be your Spiderman, your Superman…”

Guys, be sure to re-use these lines. I guarantee they will make any woman swoon.
