Yesterday in Maracaibo, Venezuela Brazil beat longtime rival Argentine 3-0 to win their eighth Copa America title. This is the second successive title for the Brazilians. Many people placed their bets on Argentina who was trying to get record 15th title. The superstar of the Brazilian team was Julio Baptista , who scored his third goal in three games at the tournament when he gave Brazil the lead after just four minutes.

Also Chile and Argentina are the only latin semifinalist in the U20 World Cup in Canada, Chile wins 4-0 in a match with Nigeria and Argentina wons 1-0 with Mexico.
