Antonio Aguilar Struggling for His Life

Legendary Mexican singer and actor Antonio Aguilar finds himself in a life or death situation in a Mexico City clinic. The 78 year old known as el charro de Mexico, has been in the clinic since Monday due to pneumonia complications and and is on a respirator. His doctors consider his condition grave. The artist, who officially retired in 2005 is accompanied by his wife Flor Silvestre,and his sons Antonio and Pepe Aguilar .

Antonio Aguilar was born on May 17, 1919, therefore he is 88 years old not 78 years old as stated above.

Igualmente, yo y mi mama’ les mandamos el pesame a la familia Aguilar. Siempre recordaremos a don Antonio con muchissimo carino y afecto. Su musica es un encanto, de los viejos. Menos mal que su hijo Pepe’, sigue con el estilo de don Antonio.
