If there were ever a couple in the world of Latino entertainment that we thought was solid, it was Juanes and his Mrs., Karen. But sadly, after three years together and 2 children, the Colombian superstar and his wife have decided to part ways:

They decided to part after months of trying to resolve their differences, the magazine reports. They will remain friends and are committed to their two daughters together, Paloma, 4, and Luna, 3.

For now, the girls will remain with their mother, who is pursuing an acting career in the U.S. Juanes is recording his forthcoming album in America.

Whether the singer’s hiatus last year had anything to do with a struggle for his marriage isn’t clear.

It’s el mundo al revés when Juanes and Karen separate and JLo and Marc Anthony are still together.
